"Contemplative Space (Above Marat)" transforms the gallery into an immersive environment that blends art history, symbolism, and cross-cultural spiritual references. The installation features hand-screenprinted wallpaper depicting a striking repeat pattern of an invented motif: an eye with a serpent's body. This "eye-snake" serves as a protective emblem, an "all-seeing" guardian imbued with vigilance and mysticism. On the ground, ceramic and cardboard objects evoke the essence of roadside shrines commonly found in India. These vessel-like forms and miniature architectural designs embody a spiritual vernacular, combining the handmade and sacred into tangible structures that invite contemplation.
